The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized an introductory scientific lecture entitled Green Basra in cooperation with the Help Gate organization within the civil society organizations.

The lecture aimed to launch an initiative led by university youth in order to improve the environmental situation in Basra Governorate.

The lecture was within the framework of cooperation with state institutions for the purpose of implementing environmental projects that serve the environmental reality in general.
