The Council of the Faculty of Science at the University of Basra held the fifth session, chaired by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Imam Riahi, in the presence of the council members, to discuss the topics on the agenda. Of these, three promotions were approved at the Faculty Council meeting ٧ three of them to the rank of Professor, including two promotions to the Polymer Research Center; three promotions to the rank of assistant professor; and one the rank of teacher for the education of Qadisiyah governorate
