The University of Basrah organizes a seminar  (Effect of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilm Extract on Diabetic Wound Healing)

The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar  (Effect of Biofilm Extract from Pseudomonas aeruginosa on Wound Healing in Diabetic-Induced Male Rats)) by the graduate student Sara Saeed Taama Al-Baydhani The study aims to evaluate the effect of biofilm extract produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa on diabetic wound healing and to investigate the associated histological, molecular, and biochemical changes during different stages of wound healing. and included The experimental animals were divided into three groups: a diabetic control group, a group treated with 10 µg, and another treated with 50 µg of the biofilm extract. The changes were monitored during different time intervals (4, 8, 12, and 16 days). The study also included the analysis of several biomarkers and gene expressions related to inflammation and tissue remodeling. and the study was recommended to conducting further investigations to better understand the molecular effects of biofilm extract and its possible future applications in the treatment of chronic diabetic wounds .
