The dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Imam Al-Riahi, honored the head of the mathematics department, Dr. Mohammad Sari Kazim, and members of the accreditation committees in the mathematics department by awarding them the Shield of Excellence and letters of thanks and appreciation at a ceremony held in the mathematics department, by the way, in appreciation of the scientific and administrative efforts exerted in fulfilling the requirements of program accreditation and upgrading the scientific and administrative reality of the department. The Department of Mathematics is the first among the departments of mathematics in Iraqi universities to obtain the program accreditation for the disciplines of mathematics for the faculties of science.
