College of Science Media

In the spirit of promoting human and social values, and on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Department of Life Sciences organized a humanitarian initiative: a group iftar for its students. The event was attended by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Inam Mahmoud Najm, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Al-Mousawi, a number of faculty members, and a large group of students, all in an atmosphere of camaraderie and cooperation.

This initiative aims to solidify the concepts of social solidarity and strengthen the sense of belonging within the university community. The reward for this act was dedicated to the souls of Iraq's righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland. This event embodies the meanings of loyalty and giving, and reflects the deep appreciation for their noble sacrifices.

The event included academic speeches that emphasized the importance of building a cohesive university environment based on compassion and cooperation, and the necessity of instilling values of social responsibility and loyalty in the students, while also acknowledging the high esteem in which martyrs are held in the national conscience. In conclusion, we ask God Almighty to accept this work, to place it in the balance of good deeds for those who carried it out, to have mercy on the martyrs of Iraq, to grant them spacious gardens in Paradise, and to perpetuate the spirit of cooperation and harmony in our educational institutions.
